美国移民攻略：在美国职场最好找工作的专业之一就是会计专业。大部分中国人数学财会方面的基础比较好，很容易转行切入会计行业。会计工作对语言要求低，上升空间比较大，那么美国会计学研究生申请需要具备怎么的条件呢？
会计学是一门实践性很强的学科，既研究会计的原理、原则，探求那些能揭示会计发展规律的理论体系与概念结构;又研究会计原理和原则的具体应用。会计学从理论和方法两个方面为会计实践服务，成为人们改进会计工作、完善会计系统的指南。
在美国，会计硕士研究生专业(MasterofAccountancy简称MAcc)，一般设在商学院，MBA的学生和会计专业学生可以互相选修对方专业的课程。在美国，MAcc的课程设置通常是24个月，也有的学校是12个月(通常学习的时间就只有9个月)。所以在这么短的时间内，通常就是学习和实践。
一、美国会计学研究生申请时间
美国会计硕士的录取是分批次进行的，因此会有多个申请截止日期。大致说来，可以分为三批。第一批的截止日期一般在每年的10月到11月初之间;第二批截止日期在12月到次年2月之间;最后一批在次年3月到5月(每个学校不尽相同，具体因学校而异)。学校录取的大部分学生都来自第一批申请者。因此，申请时间的选择也是相当重要的。建议有志于去美国进修会计硕士的同学尽可能早做准备，抓住时机，争取最理想的结果。
二、美国会计学研究生选校指导
选校一般在7，8月份进行。开设会计研究生的学校比较少，所以选校范围很小，但这一步却非常非常重要，也非常非常烦琐。在选校过程中，建议先去每个学校网页上查，把只有博士学位和MBA项目的学校剔除。可以在EXCEL里列张表，把学校名称、所在州，专业名称、各项指标排名，项目长度，开学月份、申请费、学费，GRE和TOEFL的最低要求、推荐信数量、文书数量、联系方式等等统统列出来。但也不是所有的学校都可以申请，做功课是必然的，一定要一个一个地去学校网站查，有些项目只在5月开学，有些是一定要有工作经验的，有些只要本科是会计专业的学生，相反有些还不收本科会计的学生。反正要求五花八门，需要再做一轮删选。所以，还是要权衡自身条件，超出经济能力的学校不要申请，省得徒增烦恼。
三、美国会计学研究生推荐信和成绩单
推荐信和成绩单一般在9月份。申请商学院研究生的推荐信不局限于学术推荐信，教授和实习公司老板的推荐信搭配使用效果更好。用的是学校里的老师、实习公司老板和交流中认识的美国教授3封推荐信。从学习、工作实践和性格三个角度展示。一开学就应该去找推荐人，因为学院教授级别的不多，晚去了可能老师觉得推荐的学生太多就不肯帮你写了。
一般申请的学校除了推荐信都要求有推荐表，你可以上各学校主页找;如果找不到可以去网申系统里注册，有些推荐表只有进了系统才看得到。学习成绩单开了学就尽早去开，因为那时要开的人最少。
四、美国会计学研究生文书和个人陈述
文书和个人陈述的准备一般在9-11月份。在申请的10所学校中，几乎一半的学校要求2-8篇的小论文(ESSAY)，其余的是要求传统的个人陈述(PS)。写个人陈述的，跟理工科申请文书一样，在一篇800字左右的文章重系统地阐述自己的动机、兴趣、性格等。会计硕士是实践性很强的学位，所以要拿捏好个人陈述中学术的度。
五、美国会计学研究生网申和寄送成绩单
网上申请和寄送成绩单一般在11月份。11月就可以开始网申了，建议是11月底前就要把材料寄出，快递最好。大部分学校都是先到先审请，且越早审请，拿奖学金的机会越高。小提醒，交了申请费再寄材料包裹，碰到有网上申请最后让你打印出一张东西签字寄回，如果这时材料已经寄出就要浪费一个快递了。TOEFL成绩单寄送费用为17美元/所、GMAT是28美元/所。有些学校会要求提交一种叫WES的成绩单评估报告。WES是美国一个专门做评估的机构。评估一份成绩单收150美元，第二份副本开始每送一个学校收15美元。
