EA把工程类的职业主要分为以下几个：
专业工程师 Professional Engineer：16年教育年限，包括4年工程专业本科学位
工程技术专家 Engineering Technologist：15年教育年限，包括3年工程技术本科学位
工程助理 Engineering Associate：14年教育年限，包括2年工程专业文凭
工程经理Engineering Manager：本科及以上学历，具有5年及以上的高级管理经验，需提供推荐信的组织结构图。

自2011-07-01 起，EA 针对澳大利亚移民部新的技术移民评分标准，增加了2项附加服务：
海外博士与澳洲博士的资质匹配评估 (provide an opinion on the qualification ascomparable to an Australian PhD)；
评估从事的职业与提名职业相关 (provide an opinion on the skilled employmentclaims)。
【评估要求】

a. 本科学历被EA直接认证

2016年以前，EA认证主要是对相关的本科学历，换言之，硕士及以上学位只能作为工作能力的参考因素。但在2016年1月27日后，EA正式承认116个澳大利亚硕士学位以及17个澳洲Diploma学位。
b. 本科学历未被EA认证
除了提供本科学历证明外，还需提交能力证明报告（Competency Demonstration Report, CDR）
CDR报告
CDR主要可评估的是用英文写三段职业经历和各方面能力的总结陈述，内容（列表形式）主要包括以下几方面内容：
1. 毕业后的正式培训或学习；
2. 曾经递交论文或参加的会议；
3. 参加的短期班、研习会、研讨会、讨论组、会议、技术检验和技术会议；
4. 课程学习、会议、研讨会、主题报告会的准备报告和演讲报告；
5. 对工程专业的贡献 (志愿工作、董事会或委员会志愿者工作、监督工作等)；
6. 个人学习 (包括书、期刊、学报和手册等)。
英语
雅思各单项不低于 6；
托福听力12、阅读13、写作21、口语18；
PTE各单项不低于50。
注：母语为英语、完成澳大利亚本科工程学位、在澳大利亚大学读完硕士或博士学位的申请者可以免考雅思。
工作经验
没有明确要求，但对于技术移民申请者来说，至少要有一年的相关工作经验，4年以上的工作经验比较容易申请。
【评估周期】
收到后5-7天发 CID（ContactID Number），海外学历13 周（3个月），认可学历3-4 周（1个月）。结果出来后的12 个月内可以上诉。
【评估有效期】
工程师评估有效期：终身有效，但对于移民来说有效期只有 5 年，超过5年的话需要把原件寄回EA签发新的评估函。
【申请材料】
申请表、护照照大小照片一张、申请费、学位公证、毕业证公证、中英文成绩单（建议提供密封件）简历、雇主推荐信、三篇项目报告、项目总结报告、继续教育报告(ContinuedProfessional Development)、雅思成绩单等等。

了解澳洲技术移民的人都知道，绝大多数工程类移民职业都要到EA职业评估机构先做职业评估。而以往EA的官方网站并不是十分好用，经常有延时和登录的问题，近日EA评估机构将系统升级，修改了之前的bug。使用更方便还新增了几项功能，我们来仔细看一下。
澳大利亚工程师协会（EA）是评估澳大利亚工程职业相关技能和能力的政府指定机构。移民代理可以代表其客户向澳大利亚工程师协会提交技能评估。从2018年10月开始，澳大利亚工程师公司推出了许多新功能，旨在帮助移民代理进行技能评估。现在，移民代理可以访问的门户更直观，更易于用户使用。作为注册用户，移民代理可以访问所有以前的功能以及2018年10月推出的新功能。
一、添加新移民代理功能
在线门户具有一个用户友好功能，包括向应用程序添加辅助代理的功能。要添加新代理，您需要从主导代理的工具页面中选择添加代理按钮。在添加代理之前，他们需要拥有有效的EA ID号和工程师澳大利亚帐户（可以免费创建）。然后，您需要根据其EA ID编号和出生日期搜索您要添加为代理人的人员，然后选择“查找人员”按钮。
主要代理人可以使用标记的按钮将申请从一个注册移民代理转移到其他注册移民代理。在此过程中，需要提供您申请ID以及代理商的ID。
二、新系统解决过去的超时和网关错误
在EA于2018年10月12日发布的新闻中，EA解决了许多以往在线系统的问题，特别是超时错误和网关错误。他们一直困扰着客户和评估人员，并且给每个人带来了困难：

三、澳洲留学毕业生可引入Equals,分享学历信息
改进还包括访问某些在线功能，比如“eQuals”。澳大利亚工程师网站现在可以访问eQuals，允许澳大利亚大学的毕业生与澳大利亚工程师机构（EA）分享他们的学历。毕业生应该熟悉这个系统，因为通常在澳大利亚大学他们便需要创建一个帐户。从他们的账户中，他们现在可以选择与澳大利亚工程师机构分享这些文件。这样可以更快地验证所提供的文档，从而加快处理速度。
四、EA确认与技能评估相关的主要沟通方式应通过myPortal完成。
myPortal还允许以下功能：
1.在myPortal上注册自己作为代理时输入移民代理/代理商的邮政和电子邮件地址
2.在myPortal上注册申请人时，请输入申请人的个人详细信息。这包括申请人的个人电话，邮政和电子邮件地址。
五、快速跟踪EA技能评估：
作为提供给在线应用程序的新服务的一部分，注册代理商将能够请求快速跟踪其客户的应用程序。这将确保评估员在五个工作日内接收客户的申请。完成申请人的技能评估申请将取决于他们的申请是如何完成的。澳大利亚工程师协会因应用程序不完整而无法完成评估所需的时间。在继续付款之前，将向注册的移民代理提供此选项。通过单击快速跟踪选项并支付相关费用，应用程序将被置于EA的优先级评估队列中。

在澳洲技术移民的申请中，只有工科学位的学生才能在EA递交职业评估申请。
澳洲技术移民职业评估机构EA介绍
澳大利亚技术移民评估机构EA（Engineers Australia）是大部分工程职业的指定评估机构，评估主要是基于申请者本科的工学学历或工学学位，而硕士或博士学历只作为工作能力的参考因素之一。 申请人在递交评估申请之前需要考出单项不低于6分的雅思成绩，A类或G类均可。2016年1月1日起，EA机构开始接受托福成绩，需要至少达到听力12 分、阅读13分、写作21分、口语18分。2017年11月1日起，EA机构开始接受PTE Academic成绩单，需要至少达到听力50分，阅读50分，写作50分，口语50分。成绩单有效期只认可2年的。
EA职业评估的申请条件
1、学历要求
（1）专业工程师：16年教育年限，其中包括4年本科工学学位
（2）工程技术专家：15年教育年限，其中包括3年本科工学学位
（3）工程助理：14年教育年限，其中包括2年高级专科工学学历
（4）工程经理：该职业属于高管类职业，如果EA评估，要求有工学或者工学相关本科或者更高学历
2、英语要求
（1）雅思：单项不低于6分，A类或G类均可。
（2）托福：听力12分、阅读13分、写作21分、口语18分（2016年1月1日起开始接受托福）；注：成绩必须是两年内考出的；有三种情况可以豁免英语成绩：完成澳大利亚大学工程类本科学历或者两年硕士/博士、母语为英语、满足任何一项协议学历规定的最低学位等级。
3、工作经验要求
（1）前三类职业不强制要求工作经验，但是工作经验有利于职业评估。
（2）工程经理属于高级行政职位，涉及工程战略政策和规划的组织，要求至少三年管理工作经验，工作经验需要通过推荐信和组织结构图来证明。
EA职业评估的两种途径
1、认可的学历：满足以下4类学历途径之一，提供学位证和成绩单来评估。
（1）澳大利亚学历
（2）华盛顿协议学历
（3）悉尼协议学历
（4）都柏林协议学历
注：这些学历资格只适用于本科专业工程学位，不适用于学历较低的学术水平或研究生资格的工程学历。
2、非认可的学历：需要提供能力证明报告CDR来评估（中国的工程专业的学士学位需要按照非认可的学历进行评估）。
CDR主要可评估的地方是用英文写三段职业经历和各方面能力的一个总结陈述The major assessable features of the CDR are your narratives written in English of three career episodes and a Summary Statement of the competency elements you have claimed.
非认可学历职业评估所需材料：
1）近期护照照片1张（35mm×45mm）；
2）护照首页公证书扫描件及原件彩色扫描件；
3）学位公证书扫描件及原件彩色扫描件；
4）毕业证公证书扫描件及原件彩色扫描件；
5）成绩单公证书扫描件及原件彩色扫描件；
6）尚未取得学位可以用完成信代替（仅限澳洲学历）；
7）个人履历或简历；
8）雅思或托福成绩单的原件扫描件；
9）曾用名公证（如有）；
